Guard house near the settlement of Toline

The railway guard houses on the Iseo Edolo were no different from other, nearby ones in function, but their setting is so devastatingly beautiful that it almost justifies the sacrifice, precisely because of their intrinsic unsustainable lightness of being, outside of time and of the world that was progressively evolving, simultaneously making them unique and inexorably isolating them.
