Bovisa Asso
One of the two oldest railway lines operated by Ferrovie Nord Milano, with its extension to Asso in 1922, which was for many years the only “infrastructural adjustment” by FNM.
The structure of certain guard houses makes them look like stops: imposing, provided with all the services required for a household to live independently, they quite possibly constitute an ideal representation of an area that was not very densely populated at the time and could presumably catch a glimpse of its future in the presence of such a construction.
