Tradate - Abbiate Guazzone

Abbiate Guazzone is a densely populated village in the municipality of Tradate, in the province of Varese. In 1899, an electrical substation was installed at Abbiate Guazzone, connected to the plant at Vizzola Ticino, which allowed the supply of electricity to the village itself and nearby Tradate. The town of Abbiate Guazzone was annexed to, and became a village of, Tradate on 6 May 1928. The village of Abbiate Guazzone is located south-west of the border with the Parco della Pineta di Appiano Gentile e Tradate and the province of Como.
