Como Borghi

The station of Como Borghi is one of six stations in the city of Como, along with the stations of Como San Giovanni and Albate-Trecallo managed by the RFI, the unified station of Como Camerlata, and the station of Como Lago managed by FerrovieNord.
The station opened in 1885 as part of the Como-Varese-Laveno line. From 1898 it was also served by the Saronno-Como line. On 31 July 1966, the Grandate-Malnate section was abolished, putting an end to direct services between Como and Varese.
