Viaduct on the Olona - Castellanza
On the old route of the Novara-Seregno line, 500 metres after the station of Castellanza in the direction of Seregno, the Olona river was crossed by a robust brickwork bridge, parallel to the road (now Via Piave). It consists of five round arches in solid brick, on which a single track passed for a total of 57 metres. Now closed down, like the old passenger building at Castellanza, it stands as a testament to a past during which trains heading beyond the borders travelled along its tracks.
