Alfa Garbagnate

From alfaromeo75.it: “From Garbagnate station ran [...] a dedicated track which, bypassing the town, entered the plant from the north-east behind the press shop immediately after crossing the Villoresi river, rounded a bend and branched off near the north side of the paint shop. This area, situated near where the cars leave the final assembly and trim department, was reserved for coach storage. Another branch of the track, meanwhile, ran parallel to the north-west boundary and reached, in a cutting, the rear of the storage area, effectively forming a boundary between it and the supplier parking area of the business centre under construction”.

Running on this short railway, then, were wagons loaded with cars straight off the assembly line, headed for the sales network.
